For Year 5 and Year 6 pupils preparing for the 11+ and entrance exams. Choose English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning or Non-Verbal Reasoning. Each subject is taught live for one hour a week in small groups.

I'm a qualified teacher with sixteen years in schools, most recently as Assistant Headteacher (Academics) and 11+ Leader at a London prep school. I teach English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning and interview technique, but what I love most is the moment a child stops dreading a question type and starts looking forward to it.
The 11+ catches most children out on timing, not ability. They can answer the questions, they just can't answer them in forty-five seconds. I teach methods rather than repetition: every question type is broken into clear, repeatable steps, so children walk into the exam feeling prepared rather than hoping for the best.

Find the right subject and group before

I offer small group classes, with a maximum of six pupils per class, led by me, Fem, a former Assistant Headteacher (Academics) and 11+ lead with 16 years of experience in schools. Last year, my pupils achieved the highest number of offers and scholarships in the school's twenty-nine year history.
Parents receive regular updates. I follow up with an email after every class so parents know exactly how their child is progressing.
Pupils receive detailed notes and feedback to reinforce in-class learning and help them progress toward their 11+ goals.
My classes involve lots of pupil interaction and participation. Pupils are active throughout, working through written exercises, timed questions and discussion to check understanding as we go.
I provide a warm and encouraging learning environment, so pupils feel comfortable asking questions and getting things wrong. I praise what a child does well and gently guide them to the next step, building confidence alongside ability.
