These Terms & Conditions explain how our tutoring classes and digital resources work, what parents and students can expect from us, and what we ask of you in return.
By booking a class, starting a subscription, attending a session or purchasing a resource from Noor Tutoring, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
If anything is unclear, please contact us before making a booking or purchase.
Our online classes are delivered live, so a stable internet connection is essential.
Parents and guardians are responsible for making sure that the student has a reliable internet connection and a suitable device before each session begins.
We are unable to refund, credit or repeat teaching time missed because of internet, Wi-Fi, device or other technical difficulties on the student's side.
Students are expected to behave respectfully and courteously towards their tutor and other students at all times.
We want every student to be able to learn in a calm, focused and supportive environment. Behaviour that repeatedly disrupts a class, affects another student's learning or is disrespectful to the tutor may result in the student being removed from the session.
Where a student is removed because of inappropriate or disruptive conduct, the session fee will not be refunded.
If you have any questions about your booking, please use our Contact page .
Preparation for competitive entrance examinations such as the 11+ requires consistency, regular practice and continuity. For this reason, students joining our ongoing weekly classes commit to a minimum one-month period.
To enquire about availability, contact Noor Tutoring here .
Fees are payable in advance. A student's booking or place is confirmed once the required payment has been successfully received.
Access to class links, shared folders or teaching materials may be withheld until any outstanding amount has been paid.
Each student is allocated a specific class day and time. Students should be ready to join a few minutes before the scheduled start time. Sessions begin promptly and late arrivals can be disruptive, particularly in a small group.
We understand that unexpected circumstances sometimes arise. If your child will be unable to attend, we would appreciate as much notice as reasonably possible, ideally at least one day beforehand.
Whether or not advance notice is provided, we will make the relevant class material and homework available so that the student has an opportunity to catch up.
Our normal weekly classes are delivered live and are not routinely recorded for absent students.
Students, parents and guardians must not record, reproduce, livestream, photograph or distribute any part of a class without our prior written permission.
Classes are normally delivered using Zoom or another online teaching platform selected by Noor Tutoring.
Class notes and learning materials may be stored within a dedicated Google Drive folder or another secure shared workspace accessible to the relevant students and tutor.
Where Google Drive is used, the student may need access to a suitable Google account in order to open shared files.
We strongly recommend that students join lessons from a laptop or desktop computer wherever possible, as much of the teaching and written work may take place within shared documents.
Phones and tablets may be suitable for viewing and listening but may not provide the best experience for written exercises or live document work.
Class notes, worksheets, recordings where applicable and other educational materials supplied by Noor Tutoring are for the enrolled student's personal educational use only.
They must not be shared, copied, redistributed, sold, published or made available to people outside the student's household or class without our prior written permission.
Group-class fees are paid in advance. Once a scheduled class has taken place, the fee for that session is non-refundable.
A student who misses a group class is not entitled to a replacement class, cash refund or credit against a future session. We will, however, provide the relevant lesson material so that they can catch up.
For one-to-one lessons, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you wish to cancel or rearrange the appointment.
Where sufficient notice is not provided, we may be unable to refund or reschedule the session.
Where a regular one-to-one appointment is repeatedly cancelled or rearranged, we may release that time slot for another student.
If a trial session is missed without reasonable notice, the trial fee will normally be forfeited and we cannot guarantee that another trial space will be available.
Digital resources purchased as instant downloads are made available once payment has been successfully completed.
Because access to the digital product begins immediately, digital purchases are generally non-refundable once the download or access has been supplied, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
Where a resource is provided through a personal account or login, access is for the purchaser and intended student only.
Login details must not be shared with multiple households or other unauthorised users. Where we reasonably believe an account is being improperly shared, we may suspend or terminate access.
From time to time, Noor Tutoring may offer larger revision sessions, workshops or masterclasses around key points in the academic year.
Some of these sessions may be recorded by the tutor. Where a session is intended to be recorded, participants will be informed and the recording may be made available to eligible purchasers.
In larger sessions, students may be asked to keep microphones muted and cameras switched off and to submit questions using the chat function.
Where access to a masterclass, joining link or recording is supplied immediately after purchase, the booking may become non-refundable, subject to applicable consumer rights.
To make it easier to communicate important class information, Noor Tutoring may use email, WhatsApp or another suitable communication platform to send parents and guardians class-related updates.
Where a parent WhatsApp group is used, it may be configured primarily for tutor announcements rather than general group discussion.
Questions relating to an individual child should normally be sent privately rather than posted in a group.
We ask that non-urgent messages are sent during normal working hours, Monday to Friday.
If your child is finding a topic particularly difficult, you are welcome to let us know. We may discuss progress by email, message or telephone where appropriate.
We may also provide progress feedback at suitable points during the academic year.
We take great care to provide focused, high-quality teaching and aim to help each student achieve the strongest progress they reasonably can.
However, Noor Tutoring cannot guarantee a particular examination result, score, school offer or academic outcome.
Results depend on many factors outside our control, including the student's starting level, attendance, independent study, effort, examination performance and individual circumstances.
We will provide appropriate teaching and support, but responsibility for the final outcome cannot rest with Noor Tutoring alone.
We take reasonable care to ensure that our teaching notes, worksheets, resources and other educational materials are accurate and useful.
However, occasional typographical errors, omissions or inaccuracies may occur.
If you believe any material contains an error or something is unclear, please let us know so that we can review and, where appropriate, correct it.
Website registrations, subscriptions, newsletters, free resources and bookings are intended to be completed by adults, including parents or guardians acting on behalf of a child.
By registering, purchasing or submitting information through our website, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over or are otherwise legally able to enter into the relevant agreement.
