Classes are capped at 6 students, so every child receives individual attention.
All sessions are held online via Zoom. Your child will need a laptop or tablet with a camera and a quiet space to work.
Group sizes are kept small so lessons can be adapted to each child. All students work on the same core skill, with appropriate levels of challenge tailored individually.
Students can join any available session, and classes are not fixed by ability group. As class sizes are very small, with a maximum of 6 students, teaching is naturally adapted throughout every session so each child is supported at the right level and appropriately challenged regardless of who is in the group.
Yes. All scheduled classes go ahead regardless of group size, and the price stays the same.
At the moment, one-to-one classes aren't offered; the focus is on small group sessions instead. Small groups let children benefit from individual attention while also learning from others, building confidence and practising under realistic 11+ conditions. This approach also helps develop speed, exam technique and resilience, which are key for selective school exams.
A subscription costs £120 per month, working out at £30 per session, which gives you access to the weekly slot and is billed monthly. This includes all classes, notes and individual feedback provided to students and parents throughout the year. Subscriptions renew automatically each month.
A subscription is best for families who want a consistent weekly slot, guaranteed availability, and a lower per-session rate, with billing handled automatically each month.
Yes, a trial class is available for £35 for a new student and can be purchased here.
As classes are limited in number, a monthly subscription is the best way to make sure your child's spot is safely reserved.
You are more than welcome to join a trial class subject to availability in that group. You can join one here.
The 11+ process requires time and consistency, which is why a one-month commitment is required. I cannot accommodate students who want to attend class sporadically.
My classes are strictly small group sessions to maintain personalised attention, ensuring continuous improvement for all students.
Yes, you can start any time. Since our classes are weekly and each lesson stands on its own, there's no need to wait for the start of a month. Your subscription begins the day you enroll and renews on that same date monthly, so you always get a full month of classes.
You can manage your subscription any time. Enter the email address you used to enroll and we'll send you a login code.
From there you can cancel, update your payment method, or download past receipts. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing month, so you'll keep the classes you've already paid for.
If you forget to cancel your subscription and get in touch within 24 hours of the renewal date, you're eligible for a full refund of that renewal charge. Requests made after this 24-hour window can't be honoured.
Outside of this grace period, subscription renewals are final and non-refundable. If you spot a billing error or have another exceptional circumstance, please reach out through my Contact Page.
Missed sessions cannot be refunded, but parents will be sent any materials covered in the lesson.
Yes. To avoid being charged for your next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the next billing date are not eligible for a refund.
Each lesson targets a specific area and is self-contained. Topics revisit and build on each other over time, so children who come consistently see the benefit of that repetition — but no lesson depends on a previous one.
Students will need access to Zoom for live lessons and Google Classroom for worksheets, homework if set, and lesson materials. All resources will be shared digitally.
Occasionally. Homework may be given to reinforce learning, but there is no compulsory homework.
No, sessions are not recorded to protect student privacy and maintain a safe learning environment. However, class notes are sent out after each session.
You'll receive brief written feedback after each session outlining what was covered and next steps.
Every child starts from a different place, so results vary, but consistent attendance makes the biggest difference. The focus throughout is on building strong exam technique, confidence, and problem-solving skills, so your child is fully prepared and self-assured heading into the 11+ exam.
